Michael Lansdell
Michael Lansdell

Michael is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and has strong business and communications skills. He trained at international accounting firm Deloitte and was a founding Partner at Figurit’ s predecessor firm, Lansdell & Rose. Michael combines a strategic approach with robust attention to detail.

Key responsibilities:

  • Overall strategy for Figurit.
  • Recruitment of the best people to implement and deliver the services of the firm.
  • Researching new client and other opportunities for the growth and expansion of the business.
  • Reviewing the types of services that the firm offers, and updating these as the business environment changes.

Louis Harmse
Louis Harmse
(Client Services Director)

Louis is the longest serving member of the Figurit team, having joined the firm in 2005. A highly experienced accountant, he has an honours degree in financial management. Louis has a special focus on management accounting, and systems to improve efficiency. Extremely client oriented, he combines a hard-working approach with strong technical skills, a commitment to the fast turnaround of work undertaken by the Figurit team, and to client emails. With the support of his team, he is responsible for all technical output of the firm and manages the delivery of our engagements to our clients.

Key responsibilities:

  • Overseeing all technical work, the technical team and operational systems and processes.
  • Meeting agreed all deadlines for all clients.
  • Working with clients to introduce greater efficiency into their bookkeeping and accounting processes.
Chloe Hazelby
Chloe Hazelby
(Practice Manager)

Client focused, friendly and supportive, Chloe is Figurit’s Practice Manager. She is hard-working and well organised, and brings her multi-tasking skills to bear to ensure our office runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key responsibilities:

  • Delivery of initial services and take-on to new clients of the practice.
  • Managing the many back office systems to ensure operations run smoothly for our clients and the team.
  • Office management, IT, specifically to support our cloud-based systems.

Katie Dunn
Katie Dunn
(Senior Client Co-ordinator)

As Senior Client Co-ordinator, Katie is not only helpful and client focused, she is also highly organised. Katie uses her excellent communications skills to assist clients on a day-to-day basis with their accounts and tax affairs.

Key responsibilities:

  • Connecting with clients regularly throughout the year.
  • Co-ordination of clients’ personal tax affairs.
  • Operating our many back-office systems to ensure operations run smoothly for our clients and the team.
Rae
Rae Wheeler
(Assistant Practice Manager)

Rae re-joined Figurit in 2022 after having worked with us previously from 2007 to 2012. An extremely helpful colleague, Rae supports the function of our practice manager in keeping our firm running smoothly.  Rae’s long experience in office administration has enabled Figurit to stay ahead of our many regulatory and other responsibilities. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Assistance with the take-on of new clients of the practice.
  • Maintaining the many back-office systems to ensure operations run smoothly for our clients and the team.
  • Keeping regular annual filings and other recurring tasks up to date.

Kate Lewicka
Kate Lewicka
(Senior Client Accountant)

Kate supports our clients by managing client bookkeeping and information processing. She is organised, methodical, a good technician with a great willingness to help clients. Kate has studied with both The Open University and with the Association of Accounting Technicians where she has achieved the AAT level 3 qualification.  Kate is an expert in the use of the Xero bookkeeping platform.  Kate also runs the finance function for the Figurit business.

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing client relationships in connection with maintaining their financial records throughout the year.
  • Requesting and processing missing information, saving clients time, and ensuring they have claimed the most tax relief possible.
  • Preparing and reviewing year end accounts and corporation tax returns for a portfolio of clients.
  • Managing Figurit’s in-house accounting process.
Natalie
Natalie du Toit
(Senior Client Accountant)

Natalie is a highly capable accountant who re-joined Figurit in 2022 after having worked with us previously from 2008 to 2010. Very experienced and superbly organised, Natalie is exceptional at getting – and keeping – the accounting affairs of a client up to date and accurate. Natalie has a bachelor’s degree in financial management and is an expert user of the Xero bookkeeping platform.

  • Managing client relationships in connection with maintaining their financial records throughout the year.
  • Requesting and processing missing information, saving clients time, and ensuring they have claimed the most tax relief possible.
  • Preparing and reviewing year end accounts and corporation tax returns for a portfolio of clients.

Drew Hudson
Drew Hudson
(Client Accountant)

Drew has had extensive experience in client relationships.  He is friendly, organised, approachable, and always willing to help. Drew has a portfolio of Figurit clients for whom he is responsible for their bookkeeping and accounting needs.  Drew has made good progress with his studies and has achieved the AAT level 3 qualification.  He is a capable user of the Xero bookkeeping platform.

Alex Blyth
Alex Blyth
(Client Accountant)

Alex is a MAAT qualified accountant, with experience of helping business owners optimise their workflow. With exceptional attention to detail and a passion for process improvement and leveraging efficiencies using technology, Alex will always go the extra mile for clients.  Alex is currently studying for a tax qualification with the Association of Tax Technicians (ATT).  Alex is proficient in the use of the Xero bookkeeping platform.
