Budget date set for 2015

It wasn’t so long ago that the Autumn Statement bought news of major changes to how Stamp Duty Land Tax is calculated, positive changes to ISA’s and pensions for widowers as well as changes to the rate of CGT which will affect the transaction of incorporation. The Chancellor has now annouced that 18 March 2015 will be the date for the 2015 Budget. As the General Election is a mere two months following this year’s Budget, everyone is waiting with baited breath for major news to tip votes. In an attempt to eliminate this trail of thought though, the Chancellor has already suggested that unaffordable promises prior to the Election will not be part of his Budget.
